William "Bill" Leritz

William "Bill" Leritz, 64, of Andover, KS, passed away Thursday, January 31, 2019 at home. Memorial Funeral Mass 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at St. James Catholic Church, Augusta, KS. Inurnment at Calvary Cemetery, Augusta, KS. Bill was born in El Dorado, KS on May 28, 1954, to the late Norma Jean (Wilson) and William Peter Leritz. He graduated from Augusta High School, and was the first person from Augusta to letter at state competition in wrestling. He retired as a finish carpenter after 22 years at Eby Construction. Prior to that, Bill worked at Knebler Construction Company for about 25 years. Bill enjoyed shooting his shotgun, and skiing. On November 14, 1997 he married Judy (Walker) Jameson who survives him. He is also survived by: son, Zachary Leritz; daughter, Melinda Leritz; step sons, Justin Jameson and wife Keely, Jake Jameson and wife Danielle, Jesse Jameson; brother, Jeff Leritz (Ed); sisters, Marilyn Leritz, Jeannine Coats and husband Tom; grandchild, Rowen Green.
