William "Bill" S. Turner

William "Bill" S. Turner, 76, of Andover, passed away Saturday, October 13, 2018 at home surrounded by his family. There will be no viewing. Memorial service 10:00 a.m.  Thursday, October 18, 2018, at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. Inurnment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.  Bill was born in El Dorado, Kansas on February 7, 1942, to the late Hazel Leila (Towner) and Lloyd Jackson Turner. He was a commercial insulation installer at L & T Insulation. Bill was a gun enthusiast who enjoyed reloading shells. On February 19, 1960 he married Connie  (Lohrey) Turner and she survives him. He is also survived by: son, Wm. Allen Turner and wife Sherri of Augusta; daughter, Cheryl Kraft and husband Matt of Wichita; brothers, John Turner of Clay Center; David Turner of Arkansas City; and Richard Turner of Rosalia; sisters, Mary Nuttle of El Dorado; Barbara Hutson of El Dorado; Carol Goss, of Wichita; and Frances Healy, of Augusta; grandchildren, Brooke and Darin Kraft, and Danielle, Nicole, Karlie and Sierra Flachenaecker; and 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Jesse, Jack, Harley, Jim and Joe Turner; and sisters, Norma Thompson and Lois Kilgore.
