Margie "Sue" Forsythe

Margie "Sue" Forsythe, 73, of Augusta, KS, passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2024, peacefully at home surrounded by her family. Visitation 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 12, 2024 and service 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 13, 2024, both at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta, KS. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery Augusta, KS. Sue was born in Wichita, KS on December 2, 1950, to the late Betty Lou (Montgomery) Barnes and Amado "Mel" Flores. Sue began her career as cosmetologist, then worked at Kanal as a supervisor and builder, and finally retired from Walmart as a customer service manager. Sue loved her family dearly and family was extremely important to her. On May 2, 1970, she married Harold D. Forsythe, Sr. at McConnell AFB in Wichita, KS and survives her. She is also survived by: daughter, Kim Edwards and husband Dan; son, Harold D. Forsythe, Jr. and wife Claire; daughter, Nicole Erwin and husband Jay; brothers, Larry Flores, Richard Flores, Mike Flores, Jim Flores (Kim Orton); sisters, Mary Jo Roberts (Bob), Jean Landrith, Trina Rohr, and Pam Sutton (Morris); sister-in-law, Marsha Flores; grandchildren, Darius (Taylor) and Dustin (Nicole) Semisch, Stratton (Lexie), Bailey, and Britton Forsythe, Briggs, Zander, and Westen Erwin; and 5 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her sister, Karen Flores; brothers, Charles Flores and wife, Charlotte, and Butch Flores; and sister-in-law, Jannie Flores.
