Rae Ellen Dickey

Rae Ellen Dickey, 86, of Augusta, KS, passed away Friday, December 13, 2024, in El Dorado. Visitation Thursday 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. Service 1:30 p.m. Friday, December 20, 2024, at the Augusta United Methodist Church, Augusta, KS. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery Wichita, KS. Rae Ellen was born in Wichita, Kansas on June 29, 1938, to the late Mildred (Mortez) and Elmer Ray Burdick. She worked as a computer lab aide at Lincoln Elementary. Rae Ellen enjoyed fishing and was a member of the Horseless Carriage Club. On September 2, 1967, she married Roland Dickey at the Augusta United Methodist Church, and he survives. She is also survived by: daughter, Michelle Dickey of Wichita; son, Michael Dickey of Wichita; and grandson, Dylan Dunn. Memorial donations may be made to the Augusta United Methodist Church, 2420 N.
